We all know those super large 30-person classes.  Lots of people, with very little focus on improving your personal skills.  Great if you're already perfect... but who's perfect?

Your body is worth so much more than that!

"Real Fitness for Real Bodies"

Body in Common is an Australian Pilates Studio in Bangsar.  Our motto is 'Real Fitness for Real Bodies".  All of our reformer group classes are small and have a personalised touch.  Supported by highly-trained instructors, you will notice real improvements every single class.

Coming from an Australian Pilates and Physiotherapy background, we're the experts in teaching Pilates to people of all ages and abilities.

Men and Women!

We're not here to show you glamorous models with make up standing on machines.  We provide real fitness for real people, and our regulars get really fit!

  • Lots of men do Pilates every day at our studio.  (Women too!)

  • Our clients are evenly spread from about 20 years of age, all the way up to 70.

So no matter who you are, you can find a real fitness home with us!

Get plenty of Instructor time with only 8 spots per class! ​ All our reformer classes are run by an Australian registered physiotherapist with APPI pilates instructor accreditation. Principles is a great entry level reformer pilates class for a beginner, to develop an understanding of your body biomechanics and local stability system (core) whilst getting a great workout. Reformer pilates uses spring resistance to challenge your muscles, creating long, lean muscles, improves core strength and posture, flexibility and even bone density. Suitable for the beginner to advanced student. Exercise options will be given for a satisfying workout.

Beginners and Regulars: Reformer Principles

With a structure the same as Reformer Principles, this class has been condensed and concentrated into a 30 minute lunch-time workout! ​ Make sure to be punctual, as these classes stick strictly to the clock to make sure you get a great workout, and then get back to work on time. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

Lower Intermediate: Reformer Thirty

30mins

​Slower paced class, focusing on moving your body through its full range. Lighter core work, targeting mobility. Flex is also a great entry level reformer pilates class for a beginner, to develop an understanding of your body biomechanics and local stability system (core) whilst improving your range of motion. Even if you have never done any reformer classes before, you may participate in this class. Suitable for all levels. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

Lower Intermediate: Reformer Flex

​Ready to step up your reformer practice? You've attended a handful of reformer principles classes and are feeling confident that you have tight Pilates principles. This class includes intermediate to advanced reformer exercises, challenging your strength and flexibility even more. You may even get into one of those fancy poses you've seen "that" instructor do on instagram. These classes are only open to people who have attended at least 3 reformer principles classes. If you have prior reformer experience and want to go straight to this class, please contact us first. ​ ​ ​

Upper Intermediate: Reformer Power

​You like a faster paced, heart pumping, sweat inducing workout. This class utilises the jumpboard for plyometric exercises and includes more intermediate to advanced pilates exercises. Great alternative to traditional cardio with a lower impact on the hip, knee and ankle joints. These classes are only open to people who have attended at least 3 reformer principles classes. If you have prior reformer experience and want to go straight to this class, please contact us first. ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​

Upper Intermediate: Reformer Jump

The ultimate level for Reformer fitness. This level is by invitation only, and the sky is the limit. Each class is entirely based on who books in, and we focus on really testing out the limits of what the reformer can do.
